Hamed and Ian. Hamed went home to Iran for the holidays and we haven't heard from him since. We were so worried about him.


Matthias and Daner.

Matthias was called as EQ secretary. He takes it very seriously and was even wearing a suit Sunday. He is the best!

Daner is so awesome. He comes to church every Sunday and is always at fhe, institute and sport.


So transfers came on Saturday. I'm going to Leipzig! It was really sad to say goodbye to everyone Sunday. All of our new converts were there. Matthias is so amazing. I really hope to keep in touch with him. I said "when are you going to come to America?" and he said "maybe on my mission."

Sister Pratt was in the mtc with me. Pray for us and our German. Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. I know they are being answered because I'm so happy here and feel strength beyond my own.

Eins, Zwei, Drei, Vier!

Merci and her two sons (Ralif and Gyamfi) from Ghana, and Percy getting baptised

Merci is incredible. She talks about how other churches wanted her to get baptized and she never liked them. She said there's something different about our church. Percy has been taught for a long time. I love the people from Africa. I have always wanted to go to Africa so I love meeting so many Africans here.

I was in the dressing area with Merci and she kept saying "I feel so good! I feel so good!" She says she doesn't know how to thank us, and said "maybe you were supposed to come here to Germany to help me."

Maria and Prince

Maria and Prince are so cute. Their family was at church on Sunday and it was so wonderful. We had a new family there from Ghana - more people to add to our African branch!

Taufe

Daner was baptized on Saturday. He had known about the Church for quite some time. He has a girlfriend who is a member here and his cousin is a member too. So he came to Institute and we asked, "Hey can we teach you?" "Yeah sure". On Friday we met with him and gave the first lesson. We asked if he finds out if it's true, will he be baptized. He said yes.

He had thought about it before because of Marina, his girlfriend. He came to Church and the President Monson fireside. He is so great!

The baptism all went so well. His mom was there and came to church Sunday for the confirmation. There were lots of people and investigators. Daner looked so nice. He showed up in a new suit and tie. Mathias was one of the witnesses. I love seeing these young people making changes in their lives for the church.
